Words to phone number: turn letters into digits
Type in a word. Every letter becomes the key it sits on, and we display the result as a local number and as a toll-free number.
Enter a word and the digits it dials appear.

The way it works
A letter always becomes the number of its key, so A, B and C turn into 2, and W, X, Y together with Z into 9. After the area code, a local number holds 7 digits, and a toll-free number holds 7 after its prefix. Longer words then run into extra digits, and callers simply keep dialling. See the whole keypad.
